Fake Toenails

Summer Is Artificial Toenails

Fake toenails offer a way for you to show off beautiful toenails, instead of trying to hide them.

Summer is the time many will hide their feet away, now artificial toenailscan help overcome any nail problems you have been trying to hide, and give you back your self confidence.

Acrylic toenails are fast becoming all the rage, as more and more women are now enjoying being able to show off their feet in the summer months.

Where once they were hidden in closed shoes, acrylic toe nails also offers many a way of covering up any damaged toenails.

You have a choice of going to get your toe nails done professionally, for around $40.00. Or, doing it yourself with stick ons, and they cost half the price.

The stick on nails are great for a temporary solution, if you have a big night coming up.

Fake toe nails can be made of a gel or acrylic, it doesn't matter which one you opt for. They are also very easy to maintain, if one pops off, you only have to stick it back on again with a bit of glue.

If you have them done professionally, you do need to maintain them just like artificial fingernails. Fake toe nails need to be filled as the natural nail grows out.

Since your toenails grow slower than fingernails, you only need to have them filled about once a month.

If you do have fake nails applied to your toenails, the beach is probably looking very appealing. Lying on the beach showing off your new look is a good idea, but don't spend too much time in the water, you could risk the glue losing its grip and end up watching a nail floating away.

Fake toe nails can also bring on other problems such as fungus. If you have suffered from fungus in the past, you need to be careful you don't get it again. Once you have the nails applied, spray your feet with an anti fungal spray, or sprinkle with an anti fungal powder.

Whatever you do, don't apply anything to your toenails, if it looks like you have a fungus infection starting. Yes, you will be covering the infection up, but in the long term, you are providing a perfect environment for it to grow.

If you are going to a nail salon to have your fake toe nails applied, make sure you don't go to a 'discount' salon, you really need an experienced nail tech to do the job.

Summer is usually the best time to have fake toenails applied.

You can also be very creative with your artificial toenails, and apply designs yourself.

Many women will have a French manicure done to their toenails, and this can look fantastic in a pair of open toed shoes, for that special occasion. Considering you have all your toenails in ok shape.

If you have always wanted beautiful toenails, and find this has eluded you, then artificial toenails can be the perfect option. Be careful you don't have your acrylic toenails on for too long.

Here are some fake toenails I found at amazon, I bought them for my daughter, although, I ended up using them for a couple of toenails for a night out. They are cheap and easy to use - 500 CLEAR False Toenails
