Overcome Thin Nails

How frustrating is it, having thin nails? I suffered with them all through my younger years.

Thin fingernails seems to be a common problem with many women. It is certainly more common to see women with shorter nails rather than longer.

This is due partly to nails being too thin, and breaking and splitting easily.

There are many solutions you can try to help strengthen your nails, so you can once again, or for the first time, wear nail polish.

I have written an article on the benefits of biotin, if you have not taken this supplement, then you may want to have a go, as it is very good for helping thicken nails. I would also suggest, if your nails are very, very, thin and flaky, you may want to double the dosage recommended.

This will not harm your health in any way, it is a very safe supplement.

I often come across many women who have a healthy diet, drink lots of water and still suffer from thin fingernails. I was one of them.

fix thin nails This can be very confusing, and I would suggest you could try taking biotin, with prenatal supplements. There have been many reports of women having success with prenatal supplements. I have not tried them myself, I do take the biotin though.

If you have tried the above two suggestions, then you may want to try using white iodine.

Avoid nail products which contain formaldehyde, this is found often in nail hardeners, and really does nothing in the long term to help your fingernails.

Any nail product you can find which does not contain formaldehyde, will be very beneficial for your nails strength.

You can try T.I.P.S. Nail Conditioner or Trind Natural Nail Care.

Try black strap molasses, I have come across so many people, who have had success with their nails, since they included it into their diet.

It is full of all your B complex vitamins, calcium, iron, vitamin E, in fact it contains everything you need, for stronger, thicker nails.

It will also give you beautiful smooth skin and thicker hair. It has been said to be able to reverse grey hair, and give you more energy.

Of course, anything else this syrup does for you is a bonus, the most important thing is, it really will thicken your nails.

It contains less calories than sugar, and you only need a small amount every day, around 2 to 3 tablespoons to reap the rewards.

The best way to take it is; straight, mixed with lemon or orange juice, warm milk or mixed in water.

This is a great, natural way of giving you healthy hair, skin and nails.

Mix some honey with the juice of a lemon, and massage into your fingernails, a couple of times a week.

I have often read of putting fake nails on as a suggestion, but I really would not recommend this, as you are only making your nail condition worse.
