Vinegar Help Cure Toenail Fungus

Will vinegar help cure toenail fungus? Yes, it has for many, and it may for you too.

Vinegar for nail fungus helps by killing the fungus. The fungus has changed the ph properties of your skin, and your skin is now more alkaline, meaning the fungus is able to grow and spread.

The vinegar works by eventually making the environment the fungus is living in, no longer a place for it to grow.

Vinegar is able to kill fungus and bacteria, by repairing the PH balance.

How To Use Vinegar For Fungus

Soak your feet in vinegar, once or twice a day.

You can do this to prevent toenail fungus or fingernail fungus from growing in the first place, or use it to kill it off completely.

For very advanced stages of fungus, it is best to soak your toenails in a solution of 1 part vinegar and 2 parts warm water at least 3 times a day. Many people have had success doing this morning, noon and night.

vinegar for toenail fungus If the nail fungus is very severe, you may not want to dilute with water. I never did, I just stuck my toe in a bowl of white vinegar straight.

You need to soak for at least 30 minutes, some people may add Listerine to the mixture, for an added effect.

For those of you who are busy working, and don't have time to soak 3 times a day, just put a few drops onto your toenails a few times a day. Or even better, soak a cotton wool ball in the vinegar, and wrap around your toe holding in place with a band aid.

Weather you are using white vinegar or apple cider vinegar for nail fungus, both of these make an effective and cheap way of eradicating this nail problem.

You may find that this type of treatment may take at least 1 year, before you will notice the fungus growing out with a new nail, this of course, depends on the severity of the disease.

You can also take a couple of tablespoons a day of apple cider vinegar internally, to help speed up the healing process.

When I had fingernail fungus, I would soak my nails in white vinegar every night.

Types Of Vinegar

Besides the white variety, which is the most common one for treating fungus, there is also; balsamic, wine, coconut, cane, rice and malt vinegar.

The uses of vinegar have been around for thousands of years.

Toenail fungus thrives in moist damp places. In between treatments of vinegar for toe nail fungus, make sure you dry your feet thoroughly after a shower or bath, you can even use a hair dryer on your toes to completely dry them.

Using vinegar is another word of mouth treatment, and will not be prescribed by the medical profession.

Vinegar for toenail fungus makes a cheap and effective alternative, to prescribed medication.
